Taevo Publishing Speaks at IBPA Publishing University in Denver, Colorado

Taevo Publishing is excited to announce that we were invited to speak at the 2024 IBPA Publishing University (#PubU2024) in Denver, Colorado. As one of the winners of the IBPA’s Innovative Voices Program, we were honored to participate in this prestigious event and shared our insights and experiences with fellow independent publishers and industry partners.
IBPA Publishing University is where hundreds of independent publishers and industry partners gather to exchange knowledge, resources, strategies, solutions, and more. This year’s event proved to be an enriching experience for all attendees, with a keynote panel titled “Innovators and Disruption” closing the discussions.
On Saturday, April 27, Taevo Publishing took the stage as part of the keynote panel, where we joined IBPA’s inaugural group of Innovators to discuss how our publishing programs are serving our respective communities and disrupting the traditional publishing industry. Led by IBPA Director of Marketing, Christopher Locke, this session delved into the challenges we face in building our businesses and the tools we are using to overcome those challenges.
As a Black-owned, woman-owned traditional publishing house dedicated to promoting the works of underserved BIPOC women writers, Taevo Publishing is committed to driving innovation and fostering diversity and inclusion in the publishing industry. Our participation in the keynote panel at IBPA Publishing University was an opportunity to share our journey, insights, and best practices with fellow publishers who are interested in advancing their book publishing know-how.
We encourage independent publishers, hybrid publishers, author-publishers (aka self-published authors), university presses, and association presses to watch the replays of the amazing keynote panels of the conference and to attend IBPA Publishing University in 2025.
